It was a night of excitement as the AHS athletes attended their annual awards banquet in May at the Pagoda Hotel.  The AHS Alumni & Community Association got involved to show our appreciation to the athletes who brought pride back to the alma mater as they sang at various athletics events throughout the year.  The familiar refrains of "We pledge to thee our loyalty to our colors green and white..." were absent for many years from football games until the 2003 season.  Many alumni were happy to feel the pride of our alma mater once again and wished to thank the athletes in a special way.  At the banquet we scattered Hershey Kisses on the tables with the above note.  Mahalo and Aloha to our proud athletes of Aiea High School!
