Jennifer Lam

National Honor Society President, Jennifer Lam, is the daughter of Linda  Lam.  Jennifer has been involved in so many school and community activities and have received so many awards, we simply cannot list them all.  Described as outgoing, enthusiastic, kind, thoughtful, persistent, assertive and resilient, Jennifer certainly has all the qualities to succeed.  As a leader in class and student government, she has held more offices than any other senior at AHS.  Throughout her four years at AHS she was active in the Leo Club, Math League, Homecoming, Winter Ball, Aiea Fest, Honors & Awards Nite, Special Activities and Social Committee.  Jennifer has run in many Teen Pageants including Miss Teen Cover Girl in which she placed 3rd.  Other awards include Voice of Democrary essay, Values for Life essay, Outstanding Member of the Year, and Outstanding Youth Spokes Model.  She gives back to the community through Salvation Army, Adopt-a-Highway, Taste of Honolulu, March of Dimes, American Lung Association, Spirit Mountain Temple, Pali Momi Hospital, Aiea Old Folks Home, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Hawaii Food Bank, HWAA Bowling Handicapped, Free Vietnam Organization and more.  She has been recognized by Governor Linda Lingle and Mayor Jeremy Harris for her community involvement and service.  Other achievements include the Soroptimist Youth Scholarship, Coca-Cola Scholars Program-National Finalist, and the Takitani Foundation Scholarship.
